The 6mm diameter gives a bit more control than larger barrels, making it useful for working on smaller nail surfaces or for clients with narrower nail bed.

Typhoon bits are designed with a unique spiral or cross-cut pattern, resembling the swirling motion of a typhoon.

It is built for fast, heavy removal of thick acrylics or hard gels, especially useful during the initial steps of a removal process.

The two way (bidirectional) bit works in both clockwise and anti-clockwise rotations, which is perfect for both left and right handed nail techs.

  1. 6mm head provides precision removal for targeted areas on nails.
  2. Extra-coarse grit for fast removal of thick acrylics, hard gels and dip powders.
  3. Two-way rotation supports both forward and backward movements.
  4. Typhoon pattern for powerful, efficient cutting with minimal resistance.
  5. High-speed capabilities, perfect for bulk removal on enhancements.
  6. Heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant for long-lasting use.
  7. Smooth, controlled strokes for consistent filing and shaping.
  1. Prepare the Nail – Ensure the nail is clean and dry before using the drill bit.
  2. Set the drill speed – Use at 25000 – 30000 RPM for removing thick layers of acrylic or hard gel.
  3. Hold the Drill Steady – Hold firmly with both hand if needed, as the two way design allows for forward and reverse movement.
  4. Use Gentle pressure – Let the sharp groove handle the product removal without forcing it.
  5. Move in both directions – Move forward and backward to remove product evenly, especially effective on thick overlays.
  6. Clean and Finish up – Dust off the nail and disinfect the bit after each use.
  • Use a soft brush or a cotton pad with disinfectant to remove nail debris and residue after each use.
  • Avoid harsh scrubbing that could damage the carbide.
  • After cleaning, wipe with a lint-free towel or let it air dry completely to prevent moisture buildup and rust.
  • Sanitize in an autoclave or use an appropriate disinfectant solution to maintain hygiene, especially in a salon environment.
  • Keep the bit in a protective case or holder to avoid dulling or damaging the cutting edges.
  • Regularly check for signs of wear, such as dullness or chips.
